Michael Ruger

Partner and Chief Investment Officer at Greenbush Financial Group, LLC. Michael has more than 20 years of experience in providing financial planning, investment management, and employer-sponsored retirement plan services to clients. He obtained his bachelor’s degree in Business Economics & Finance from SUNY Oneonta. Michael started his career as an Investment Officer in the trust department of Glens Falls National Bank and later joined DR Pension LLC to head their investment department for their employer-sponsored qualified retirement plan division. Michael joined GFG in September 2007 and he holds the following highly recognized financial designation:

Rob Mangold

Partner and Chief Compliance Officer at Greenbush Financial Group, LLC.  He joined the firm in 2015 and has since been helping clients create financial plans, manage investments, understand Medicare and Social Security, and run employer sponsored retirement plans.  As a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Rob brings a wealth of business and tax knowledge to the firm.  Before joining the firm, he served as a senior auditor at a local CPA firm for 5 years before becoming the controller of a national level manufacturing company headquartered in the Capital Region. Rob obtained a bachelor’s degree in accounting from SUNY Geneseo. He holds the following highly recognized financial designations:

• Certified Financial Planner (CFP®)

• Certified Divorce Financial Analyst (CDFA®)

David Wojeski

A Partner at Greenbush Financial Group, LLC, David founded the company in January 2000. David worked for several years at the big four firm Ernst & Young. His background supports the financial planning process as he provides expertise in the areas of estate planning, taxation, and retirement planning. David holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting from SUNY Albany. He was also one of the founding members of the Albany Chapter of the Entrepreneurs Organization.

Brad Harkness

Investment Advisor at Greenbush Financial Group.  Brad worked for Ayco / Goldman Sachs for 13 years, and in his role with Goldman, he worked primarily with high-net-worth clients in excess of $20M in assets.   He transitioned over to Greenbush Financial to concentrate more on providing employer-sponsored retirement plan services, fee-based financial planning, and investment management services to individuals and households between $100,000 and $10M.  He was born and raised here in the Capital Region, and outside of the office, he enjoys watching his New York Mets and is an active member of the Scotia-Glenville Elks club, serving on their board of directors.

Debbie Ward

Head of Client Relations at Greenbush Financial Group. Deb has over 15 years of experience working in the investment industry. She plays a vital role in the firm by managing the day to day operations at GFG and ensuring that our clients have direct access to the information that they need to foster a high touch relationship with our firm.

Sydney Wojeski

Director of Social Media at Greenbush Financial Group.   Sydney obtained her bachelor’s degree from the University of Connecticut in Business Management with a minor in Entrepreneurship.  After graduating, she worked for a firm in Boston, quickly rising to the position of Market Director for the Boston office.   She has now joined GFG to help our firm expand its presence on our various social media outlets to deliver our content not only to our clients but to individuals all around the U.S.
